  2. Select an auction date, typically 4-6 weeks from the date of contract signing.
  3. Determine the terms of the sale. Auctions can be held onsite at your home,  offsite at one of KIKO’s designated locations, or online only.
  4. Review and approve KIKO’s recommended advertising strategy to promote your specific property.
  5. We’ll handle the rest!

Note: Once the auction is complete, real estate settlement is typically within 45 days from date of sale. Chattel settlement is typically within 14 days from date of sale.

How Much Will This Cost Me?

The short of it, a little of your time.

Our knowledgeable auctioneers work on a commission basis which can vary depending on the type of auction you choose, what assets you have to sell, and your goals.

We will work closely with you to determine the best approach, discuss fees, and as mentioned above, determine the terms of the sale.

Note: Additional fees may be incurred for added services such as cleaning out properties, specific advertising, and other special requests.

The Advantages of Selling at Auction

The benefits of selling at auction are numerous, but for this purpose we’ll focus on three.

  1. Control. As the seller, you set the date, time and terms of the auction.

    Note:
Everything is sold “as-is” and “where-is”. The buyers know that the highest bidder will get a clear and marketable title after they fulfill their commitment of paying.
  1. Competition. With multiple bidders participating for the right to purchase your item(s), auctions generate competition that could bring a higher sale price without negotiation.
  2. For cases where division of interest is involved – think divorce, inheritance, or partnership dissolution – auctions offer a fair and open transaction to all involved.
